About Us
Keith B. Kenerly has been around Civil War artifacts for the past 20 years. It all started when he went digging outside of Atlanta Ga, back in 1979. On that first dig he found his first artifacts, a CS Cast I button. That was all it took. After that, he was digging or reading about artifacts day and night. He attended all the Civil War shows he could, from the north to the deep south. Each week he was on the road looking for that deal or in the woods digging. After some time, Keith was told by his dad that he had to STOP and come back to work at their realestate office. He had been their top seller & best closer but he enjoyed driving from state to state, going to shows and digging more. So he decided to make a living doing what he loved. Twenty years later, Keith is still at it. His company, Deep South Artifacts, Inc. has had a store, a mailing list & been to more shows than he can count. Keith has sold some of the most rare artifacts known to Civil War collectors. Now he has this site for people like you who would like to buy artifacts from someone they can trust. The artifacts on this site are 100% real & were made or used in the Civil War. You will not see much of the rare, one-of-a kind artifacts on this page because they are sold before they can get on here. But from time to time he may put that very rare piece on the site. If you are looking for that super-rare piece, let us know & he will do all he can to get it for you. Keith has sold some of the rarest artifacts known but he is very confidential and keeps the seller & collectors names to himself to respect his clients’ privacy. He will do the same for you. Just call or send us an e-mail of your wants. If its buying or selling of that rare artifact, he has & will get it done. Deep South Artifacts, Inc. is a "By Appointment Only" business. Most of the time Keith is on the road looking out for his clients. All e-mails & calls will be return as soon as possible.
