Item #: 956 SOLD>>>US Box Plate Hit with Bullett This is a super dug US Box Plate that wea Dug Here in Fredericksburg, Va. If you look in the new book called In The Line Of Fire, By Steve Mullinax & Jack Melton, on page 73 at the US Buckle & on page 46 at the breastplate you will see that this is the same way this Boxplate was hit. It looks most like the breastplate on page 12, the back of this plate is as smooth as the day it was made. There is no lead missing, & this is a vety old dig from the south side of old town Fredericksburg, on the CS side. The way it hit it would most likely have killed the one who had it on. This is from a lead bullett or a lead case-shot. This is a mint box Plate with both loops still on it, that was struck with Shot or shell, in the Battle of Fredericksburg, VA. You will not find one better & the last one I sold I got over 1,000.00 for it. This is a deal. And it is something you never see anymore & even years ago it was hard to find a struck plate. If it is a large dollar that is more than around 5,000.00 & up the down payment is nonrefundable & you will lose the payment & the artifact will go back up for sell. We will not pass this info on to other dealers, but if asked I will not lie. I know that if you lose your down payment you will get mad & up-set, but we have to do this to be fair to DSA & others. We at times have other peoples stuff for sell & when we get a down payment get will pay it to the owner or owners. If you don’t think you will be able to pay off something then it will be much beter to pass on it. I don’t like to pay out a lot of Legal fees & I know you don’t. So Please don’t make a deal that you can’t pay off. If you have something on hold then you know we have talked about this & your down payment is a made deal & it has & will stand up in Court. This makes me sound like a bad guy when I would if I could just give this stuff away. I would also give money to all that needed it, But till Jesus gives me the money to do that then this will stand.
